La Historia del Día de la Secretaria

Secretary's Day

It is a well-deserved tribute to recognize the important work carried out by these professionals and a date for the bosses to offer them a nice gift. In large companies it is common for all the secretaries to go to eat together, and even prepare a party after work hours.

This celebration has its origin in the president of the Executive Secretariats of Mexico, María Luisa Rodríguez, instituted this date in the year 1960. At first the "Secretary's Day" was celebrated on December 3, later it was changed to July 24 and finally the “Third Wednesday of the month of July” was chosen.
